About Me
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education with a major in Reading from Eastern Washington University, then went on to Washington State University to study for my Master of Education with a Specialization in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Special Education.
This is my third year teaching at Vista and my second year teaching second grade. I started at Vista as a lifeskills teacher. Prior to that, I gained experience working at Finley Elementary School. In my free time, I enjoy staying active and being outside.
I love playing softball, hiking, and letterboxing. Some of my favorite things are country music, popcorn, and books. I have one daughter who lives in Spokane and graduated from Eastern Washington University in June 2014.
It is my goal to approach teaching with a positivity that will hopefully transfer to my students.
